Re: What are you doing today ??
Been to a meeting in Rugby today and on the way back i decided to pop into Ducati Coventry for a cup of tea and a chat...and hping to see one of the Superleggera's there.
Well there was a Superleggera there and very nice it is too. If only i had a spare £55k.
However a few minutes later a Pikes Peak Multi pulls up on the car park...closely followed by a Ferrari 458 Spider. The rider comes inside to drop his bike off and the guy in the Ferrai pops in to look round. So whilst his son is sorting out the keys to his bike, the guy starts chatting about bikes and i move the conversation on to the Ferrari. Anyway I ask if i can have a look at his car so he takes me outside to show me round. Turns out this chap is 82 yrs old and still loves his Ferraris.
What an epic piece of kit it is. Just like this one.

Good day of seeing lots of friends, including Kwacky and Mrs Kwacky and returning the copy of Jarhead I've had for quite a while. Sorry for the child-unsafe shirt though - I wasn't thinking when I popped down...

See those prancing horse badges on the side? £1200 a pair.
Cookie, not 5 minutes after the Ferrari left, an F Type pulled up too. I have to say at normal road speeds the F type sounded better than the 458 but i suspect revving the Ferrari hard maybe where its epic noise is hiding.

Depends if they had the loud exhaust button on the ftype. I happen to have the option and it's epic at 5-8k, though the ftype is very good low down too. The noise was one of the things that got the sale tbh. French villages know I'm passing throughduke63 wrote:See those prancing horse badges on the side? £1200 a pair.

The Ferrari has valves that open up higher up so it passes legal requirement and I do love the sound of those ferraris. The 355 was wonderful too.
I'll give you a demo when I see you

Spent the day out at the park with the kids. Nice sat round in the sun eating ice cream and chilling out.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Today I will be mostly fighting off tiredness.
In the middle of the night I dropped my pillow, which hit my glass of water, so I had to get up and clear the mess I had made.
Then a couple of hours later my daughter had a coughing fit
Than Alex came in at 5.20am to tell me he had had a bad dream.
Who need sleep?
