Nah....think it's from Marvel or DC Comics. I seem to remember some appallingly evil super-villain with gills on his neck.
OR!...... His name might just be Mr. Fish...like the bloke who used to do the ITV news or weather.

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
michael fish the weatherman - seems a nice chap but messed up big time as frontman with the forecast
from wiki:-
' a few hours before the storm broke, on 15 October 1987, he said during a forecast: "Earlier on today, apparently, a woman rang the BBC and said she heard there was a hurricane on the way... well, if you're watching, don't worry, there isn't!". That evening, the worst storm to hit South East England for three centuries caused record damage and killed 19 people. '

Worse still, it uprooted the old laburnum tree next to my drive, which landed right across my Alfa Romeo cloverleaf.sir thomas blanchard wrote:.. That evening, the worst storm to hit South East England for three centuries caused record damage and killed 19 people. '[/i]

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
that last one is more my style although much too heavy for me. if i had anything like those i'll end up in a hedge or worse
big bikes are a kind of fantasty world in my case, the biggest i owned was a kettle and that was plain unstable to ride too fast.

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
The FJ was a Revelation.............. Heavy but felt really light on the move............ I wanted one as soon as I got overtaken by an FJ1100 on the M6 heading South whilst Two up on my GS850G coming back from Cumbria .......... feck, was that a heavy Bike......... Trying to keep up with him was really painful so I decided to invest in one when I returned.................... spent about 3 months going to Exeter ( Bridge ) to just look at the bike in the showroom before I actually got the Keys............... 88 was a really good year for Bikes....... but a shit year for Relationships......... truth be known.

but a shit year for Relationships......... truth be known. oh dear that doesn't sound too good
where i live, at the end of a cul de sac, peeps park in the turning head and the driveway is on a slope so it is a rare thing to be able to do a clean sweep into the property, with the parking and all it means hauling bikes around, all a bit difficult and i actually did drop one that i previously owned which wasn't that heavy although i couldn't pick it up without help, it's the awkwardness of it at low speed/manoeuvring really

i wouldn't make a sexual connection myself but there is no doubt that these huge bikes are something of a missile.
