Gym was busy again but there was only the pec deck I couldn't get on, so I did some barbell chest work on a bench instead.

I really struggled at the gym last night training back.

I settled on doing 4 sets til failure of various pull ups (wide grip, wide grip bar behind head, narrow grip chin up) followed by seated row..

Nearly sick when i got home and felt low so I recovered with a shake and Dominoes

But it makes my stomach a flabbier place, too.

Tonight's public gym session with my instructor mate and my yoga pant sporting other mate will be brutal.

2 hour gym session last night (back and upper arms) means that I was almost dead by 8 pm. Hour run after that completed the task.

This is zombie dogbot, typing from the other side.

My stomach looks nice and flat nearly 6 weeks after Xmas, though. 8)

Missed leg day yesterday, so added deadlifts to this morning's back routine, it's been a while since I've done them so things got a little shaky!

Did a longer workout today as I'm off work, really enjoyed it but my hands are in bits, and the Toby Carvery breakfast I had afterwards probably hasn't helped my waistline, but hey, all you can eat for £3.99!

It's when you lie on your back and the fat drops to the sides.

I'm letting the side down, huh? I'm 41 and not that far off a six pack.

Sorry.

Stupidly stayed up until half one last night playing Fallout, consequently didn't fancy an early morning session today.

Walking the dog was as close as I got to any form of exercise!

Leg yesterday - feel pretty good today but I can tell they'll be wrecked tomorrow.

Since lowering the weight to work on form I went up to 137.5kg squats for 4 sets and 6 sets of calf raises at 130kg. Leg press too and walking lunges (I literally hate these!)

Hitting back tonight and shoulders tomorrow before football wednesday

I've only recently started doing squats and it's highlighted a weakness on the inner aspect of my pelvis, so it's all about reps with a light weight for me. Max I use is 75kg.
