Really? As it was based on the book I thought it would have been a one off.

I do hope the writing is as good. Excellent series.

The original plan was just to do the book. There's split opinion about going beyond it. I guess they can do a pre-series as the book hints at what went on before Anjin arrived.

Police pursuit!!!!
This morning's was a true classic.....the suspect ended up ramming & chasing the cops at one point, so you have the bizarre visual of a police car going balls-out to get AWAY from a speeding white van.
Suspect later rammed a few vehicles in an epic wreck and was arrested....she'll do some serious hard time for pulling this s#!%.

I watched the programme on BBC2 last night, that met with surviving D day veterans.
Nothing new was covered, but was very humbling nonetheless.
