I was in some woods, being chased and shot at by British redcoats. I've no idea which country I was in but the people I was with were French. I remember the occasional shout of "gendarme".

You were in Canada, fleeing in order to survive the tyranny of the oppressive British regime.
That place obviously had Redcoats in it at some point, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is called the "Gendarmerie Royale du Canada" in French.

What'd you do, Anglaise???

No idea. It was a proper battle. I was face down on the floor at one point and could hear shot hitting the dirt.

Last night I dreamt i was working for a drug cartel and we were taking over a new area. The big cheese gave out loads of money to the locals, who all started buying our drugs. We were getting really rich, then the authorities took an interest so we cleared out. I was responsible for cleaning the place we were using and got really stressed they would find out who we were :D

Then i woke up thank god - was getting a bit violent (wasntme)

Seems obvious when you think about it, but apparently stress could be a factor.
Ive had a few weird ones since lockdown kicked in. A few have involved guns and violence, but I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty, so there's that.

I dreamt last night I was on a coach heading towards the city but I came from miles away through country roads and the driver was dangerous, going over lines on blind corners etc etc. I chucked him out of the drivers seat and I took over. We got to the city and we went to a show. My best mate met me and others there and grabbed a bite to eat..when we came out it was deserted.

We wondered around and met stragglers and then we got chased by zombies. We locked ourselves into some sort of shop and somehow we managed to get rifles and then we went out on a hunt for zombies. Bumped into loads and we got into a ruk.

Then my cat woke me up!

I had a dream that I was working on my bike prepping for a nice blat around Wales. I went inside to have some munch and grab a drink. Walked upstairs to grab some bits and took a look at where the bike should be and it was gone. I had only been 30 mins tops but some d!(khead had nicked it. Scared the crap out of me

It was super nice because I was in the 'flow'. Just carving the track, hitting my lines and mega relaxed. Total bliss.

Question- question to all really

But why in a dream do you 'feel' and get sensations? So strange how your head can make you believe all those feelings

Can not wait for lockdown to end as I bet you are with track day (weekends) etc

Emotions are just a physical effect from a mental stimulation IIRC which is why the phrase "mind over matter" exists. You can, with enough practice, overcome pain with mental processing. We learn emotions and reactions to a point.
