Fwiw I'd want this more.:

If someone gave me a choice of any Ducati sports bike I think I would want one of these which is a 916SPS. These are supposed to be the closest road version to any race bike they made. But if an animal apparently.

I tried to make my 748 look as close to this as possible.

I nearly bought one of those in 2005 not knowing how desirable they would become, but it had a had a nasty front end smash on a racetrack somewhere and amongst other things was missing the top brace with the numbered plaque, plus buying a duc that had been tracked was a recipe for big engine bills, I even went as far as talking to the local secretary of the Ducati Sporting Club about it, but decided it was a bad bet. I'm kicking myself now though.
