I haven't yet but I will be doing next week.

I like to do the work myself and know it's been done probably as not had good experience in any main dealers service department car or bike tbh.

There's a massive row going on on the sx forum about the spark plug issue.

It doesn't make sense to me either.

Kawasaki seem to think you need new spark plugs pretty much each time it goes in for a service.

A set of ngk iridiums should last 20,000 miles or more

Exactly our point too Perks as the very idea behind iridium plugs is there installed in awkward to access locations (bike engines) as they have a long service life and therefore avoiding lengthy and costly procedures to have them changed.

Honda say inspect iridium plugs at 16000 miles and replace at 32000 miles for some crazy reason kawasaki say the oem iridium plugs need changing at 7500 mlies if you follow their service schedule to the letter. Even there dealers see this ad ridiculous.

All done and fully of fresh fully synthetic for a good thrashing asap when the weather improves.
