Looked into this years back, but never got any further!

Got an OBDII cable lying around from the old Audi, so keen to give it ago and try smooth out any issues.

Anyone got any words of wisdom? Or even better.....any maps!

I've got a map or two tucked away, will have to have a look for you.

At the time, Shaggi's (ex forum member) map was awesome. Far too rich, but you could get a flame out the exhaust on the overrun (devil)

I'd got a nice map I used to use on my d600 trackbike I think.

You've definitely got a d600? The maps for the 650 are very different.

Yep, definitely a 600.

Mine must be running pretty rich all ready. Akrapovics constantly spitting flames!

Install the correct driver for your OBD cable before you plug it into your laptop.
Tune ECU is used extensively by us on 675.cc & I reckon more people have been caught out by allowing the operating system to download what it thinks is the correct driver, than have put the correct driver on first.
(Sorry if you already realise that btw mate (blush) )

I have a disc of maps at home. I'll have a look & see if you like (as iirc there were quite a lot for the 600 & 650)

I am so sorry jlawie, I had entirely forgotten about this. (headbang)

I am at home now, & I have just had a look.
There are over 640 triumph Map.hex files on my disc.
However they are all just identified by file number, except for the ones that I have specifically created for my 675 and a few that are randomly referenced to other models. :(
So, I probably do have the file you need, if you know what that file is.
The whole folder size is 147mb, so I can email it to you easily enough if you think it would be any use.?

Had an attempt at this at the weekend, but no luck. Appears the cable is the wrong chipset unfortunately. Will get one ordered up!

Does any one have a copy of shaggys map still??

Cheers

Would you mind sending me a copy of shaggys map?
I could do with tuning my 600 up a bit especially with the straight through exhaust

Cable arrived this morning, so its tonights job!

Anyone turn off the o2 sensor as well? Heard it stops the bike hunting so much on idle.

Turn it off in tuneecu, will help but fuel consumption goes up a little if I remember.

Does your trip memory work? Think it's on the same fuse as the OBD. I had a dodgy wire (corroded) in the loom that took out the trip and the OBD

Yep. All working fine. Cable seems pretty loose on the odb mind

Did you remember to install the correct driver BEFORE attaching the cable mate. As I pointed out earlier, the most common problem we experience at 675.ccc is with people attaching the cable & allowing windows to install the driver it thinks is correct.
Then the connection with your bike cannot be made, no matter what you try.
