Re: Mr Postman
TBH I think standards have just gone down hill across the board in all sectors and areas of life imo. Vert few craftsman about these days. No body seems to take pride in their work.
The furniture was from a high end bespoke retailer and we viewed it in the Showroom and the quality was amazing. In fairness to the seller they haven't moaned at replacing the items and was actually their suggestion. I think the policy these days seem to be make it some where near and hope the customer doesn't spot any defects but if they do just replace the item and send it to someone else.
We got a mirror the other day with a crack in the frame. It was clear from the packaging it had been returned once previously so they know what their doing imo and virtually said as much when my wife phoned to reject the item,

Re: Mr Postman
Sorry just re read the info and not sure if they actually are dried.
It says "winter cured for a 100 days."
Apparently the butcher only produces them once a year. Not tried them yet so will let you know what their like.

Got back to a load of car. Surprising how much companies bang in about not wasting paper but I swear half of all paper left goes through my door!!

Replacing the ohlins, it’s an OEM shock and sprung to a completely different weight, so what the hell , bought a new shock sprung to my weight. Going to service the ohlins and sell on.Blade wrote:What's it replacing Mick? SACHS or Ohlins?
