I'm riding along just over the speed limit in lane one of a 2 lane road. It's not a dual carriageway. Up ahead I spot a cyclist. There' a car in front and he's spotted the cyclist at the same time. I see the car driver check his mirrors. He and I indicate to the right at the same time. Nothing wrong with that.
What is happening behind me though is something else.
Me and the car driver have seen the cyclist in good time. However, the tw-t on the old red Honda thinks he's going to hammer it past the bloke on the bright yellow Versys. On the inside. As he's got close to me he's decided to dive on the inside as I've moved over to the right, but he's somehow failed to spot the car which is moving over but waiting for me to complete my move.
I heard a front tyre squeal as the Honda hit his brakes. He then dropped out of sight.
My tw-t of the day,.

Re: Tw-t of the day
When you say he dropped out of sight, do you mean over the edge of the dual carriageway ?

I've no idea where he went. I don't think he went down as he was upright when I last saw him. I think he pulled over.
