Got it out from under the cover for the first time in ages. Checked it over, started it, put it back under the cover with the optimate for a few hours.
Hopefully going to get out for a quick blast tomorrow after lunch of the weather is still good.

Yesterday went out for approx 110 miles. Didn't realise it was that many to be honest. I didn't feel like i went that far to be honest but i was out for hours. I used my wide angle lens it's a faff to get out and set up and I spend a fsir bit of time doing it all but it was pretty good when set up correctly. Had grrat fun though as o havenr been out on it for ages!

A late afternoon blast on the S1, after 3 solid track days in Spain, I thought I would get my head back into road mode....... Well that did not happen LMAO.....Ride it like you stole it comes to mind.... oh well it was fun.
Thank fudge for traction control lol....
Only draw back, putting all the warm kit on, feel so restricted with some much kit on, however when the sun went down it was needed.

Maybe I don't need another bike after all.
An hour out on the Multi feeling the front wheel skimming the road at xxx mph is very life affirirming.

Made a shim to take some of the free play out of the OEM gear linkage and adjusted the QS shift rod length to that stated in the manual as previous owner had set differently.
Hopefully the mods will give a slicker gear shift

Cracking blast around a load of the local lanes, was never more than about 20 miles from home but still covered just under 100 milesD6Nutz wrote:Snuck out for a quick blast, despite manflu. Currently enjoying tea and cake at the h-cafe.
Spent most of the time taking random turns, not having a clue where I was heading. So glad I changed to the KTM, and upright bike is so much more suited to the roads round here and with the quick shifter it's a fecking blast.

Did something similar myself this afternoon. Taking fairly local roads but ones i don't really know or even been down before. Its amazing what you see with your head up and even more so on the Multi when i can see over many of the hedges.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Today I lead a ride up to Sandsend just north of Whitby and back, about 200 miles all in for me and all on one tank on the big KTM, and we weren't hanging about. One slight moment in the rain when the rear tyre hit something slippery but it was just one of those things, I was taking it easy at the time.
We had lunch here and the selection of cake was great
