Congrats to your daughter Kwacky she must be very proud - however sibling rivalry must be rife now as your son will want to get that I'm sure haha!!

It's Breiwick Bay on the East coast of Shetland, it's a very rugged area and I can't imagine the life required to scratch out a living in centuries past - sadly views don't feed the family. On that subject the food is as good as the view, I'll put a post in the eats thread.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Spent the first of two days at Drayton Manor. Thought going on a weekday would lessen the queues.
Which it would have were there not a load of school trips there!
In the first two hours me and my daughter had been on two rides!
There was some spectacularly innapropriate attire worn by some of the school "girls" as well.
Spectacular!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Woke up normal time (0450) took the dog out as I exited my block of flats I realised somethin g was amiss with the car. So I walked over to it with my dog and realised I had a flat! Doh! So now because of my last flat I haven't got a spare so had to get a lift into work. Will have to pick up my dog and walk home, I'll call the AA and ask them to take me to the llocal garage to get 2 new tyres.
I wouldn't mind so much but tomorrow I am taking my car to the garage for a timing belt change so will be without it for the weekend so I have to get the tyres quick snap. Looks like an expensive weekend now

Re: What are you doing today ??
Walked the eldest to school, went to the local hardware shop and emptied my wallet on paint.
Painted the ensuite, then popped down to see my Gran. Back for parents "evening" (3:30) then a quick play in the park before walking home and putting the ensuite back together.
It's quieter being at work

Changing the oil filter on the blackbird laid on the floor. My son comes over and says "I've put sand in my jet plane" i then feel what feels like a bucket of sand being poured into my ear. :-(
