Medusa red ale. Too strong a flavour with no real taste.

Wild Bill IPA. Proper American style IPA. Nice flavour and a bit moorish.

Well, tonight marks the night of our Saint Barbara celebration.

St Barbara is the patron saint of Armourers...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Barbara" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So it's an official function in the Sgts Mess, we'll all be suited & booted in our finest civilian attire for a 3 course meal and regaling each other with armaments related tales.

And then there's the drink...
(facepalm)

There are 43 people going, 8 of whom aren't drinking.

There are 40 bottles of wine.

10 bottles of Port.

Over £300 of twofers behind the bar.

And a dustbin full of Pink Polar Bear...
http://www.barnonedrinks.com/drinks/p/p ... -7614.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
...which will have been made and contributed to by Armourers.

If I die I hereby donate my bike to the Tankslap forum for use on track days, stunt shows, speedway, ice racing, anything more hardcore than what it's been used to. (So anything, then!)

Not to today but Tuesday night my MD took our team out for dinner and drinks. The Hotel we stayed in had had a Gin night a few days before so the bar was full of different Gins and Tonics.

In the end we settled on Bathtub Gin with a Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic. Bloody lovely!
