I went for the pizza. The burger looked too much.
For you Brummies the place I went to does a balti pizza, which is very scrummy.

Had a nice Mexican chili chicken today followed by some churros.

I just went to Burger King.
I ordered a Mushroom Steakhouse XXL meal.
Erm...
And a Chicken Royale meal.
I ate them both.

Re: What are you eating ??
Had my breakfast at 7 this morning and didn't eat again until about 30 minutes ago. I'm surprised I've not passed out.
Told Mrs Kwacky I wanted something comforting so I had beef brisket with loads of veg, mash and thick gravy.

It's not a good idea to do starve your body when you need your mind to focus - although you probably know that anyway, it's really not good if you're driving home afterwards either. Hope you enjoyed the roast beef though.
Fwiw I've always got a box of "emergency rations" in the car couple of muesli bars, couple of pot noodles, jar of Bovril and some cuppa-soups, it's mostly rubbish, but in a pinch it'll keep you awake and functioning.
Good luck with the case, rush jobs are usually horribly difficult and come with small thanks afterward in my limited experience.
Edit: I had a bowl of pasta bake that had been congealing for 2hrs in the oven, past caring tbh, it got eaten regardless.

No choice today. Got pulled out of the office first thing and spent all day in a meeting. After the meeting I wanted to go to eat but my boss wanted to head straight back. All good fun.

+1 on the emergency rations. I've usually got a go ahead bar or a Mars bar tucked away

I must say, now that HP is readily available to me, I go for it more and more, and if I'm going out to eat, I take a bottle with me......haven't had ketchup in ages, 'cept to make my Thousand Island dressing.Bratty wrote:Fish fingers and chips with brown sauce last night love it.
