Post by Blade »

Baron Von Grumble video review of the 899, hope you enjoy it (y) .

Love this guy he really makes me laugh (giggle) . First time I have heard an 899 described as a "Farty little Girl" (rolf)

He bought one in the end didn't he. Guess he had to sell due to his divorce, love any of his reviews he does. People have said that he is one hell of a rider by he doesn't think so!

Yeah think it was a red one he bought. Didn't know he'd sold it though?

He is an amazing riser and must be very naturally talented as only started bike riding in 2008 after a bad car crash.

Wish I could ride like he does.

This is the video he did after buying an 899...and then sold not many months afterwards after splitting from his wife.

He can naturally ride and is naturally funny so it's a win win!! He has been pretty brutally honest in some of his videos. Think that's what makes him a great Moto vlogger. He does reviews so anyone can understand it and doesn't sugar coat thing either!! Double bloody decker!!

He's entertaining which is what it should be all about. Some of these vloggers are so dull its painful to watch.

Now comes with £750 of free Ducati performance vouchers.

I think it may have been Andy who was waiting for this offer to come up.

Free Termis in winter seems to be the best offer. I need to start test riding some bikes...

I've only ever seen his MotoGP test ride clip before, but I have heard you lot mention him a few times. Definitely an entertraining review.. I love his comment as he passes the wedding (lol)

Once I can get near some decent wifi I'll check a few more of those out.

Couldn't agree more duke. Some of the American ones are bloody terrible, straight roads, boring voice and crap discussions! Although must admit the Baron doesn't hang around on any road, even when past speed cameras he doesn't flinch !

Definitely do Kiwi, although he doesn't do many videos nowadays as the Baron. he is more into his 44teeth, which I think he's gone for the more professional approach for. Although he managed to wing a a go kart track to race 2 125s around think that is marvellous!

I like his banter and funny comments the best. The riding is good but his craic is better and as Duke says its all about the fun.

Whilst I was up at JHS racing getting the tyres swapped over I got off Blade, I noticed BVG's blade track bike was in there waiting to have some work done to it I presume. Very tricked up it is too. I think he spends a lot of time with Alastair Fagan (44 teeth) who also spends a lot of time up there doing his fast bike mag stuff.
Apparently they had been racing JHS's supertwins at the castle combe race meet the other weekend, looking at james ( the owner) face when I asked how they got on they didn't win (giggle)

Now that is very nice.

Are the wheels aftermarket or oem ones painted gold ?

I'm not sure if I prefer the 899 swingarm over the 1299 single side swing arm.
