Fry some streaky bacon in a pan till crispy and put some maple syrup over it or brown sugar and caramelise it. It's like eating heaven.

I like both!! Most US bacon is honestly not that good compared to English back bacon...BUT - we do like it with Canadian maple syrup....either saturated into the bacon itself when it's being cured, or on the side, and/or with your pancakes. Pancakes, surprisingly actually CAN be eaten more than once a year with no apparent ill-effects.

They go right up there with Morris Dancing as one of those things I bet the Brits wished they had never invented.
