Same here Kwacky - the main issue is, despite being not that far away (as the crow flies) it takes at least 4.5 hours to get there. That's an awful lot of driving to be doing for a single day

It has to be an overnight before and after for me as well. 3.5 hours isn't something you want to do before or after a track day

Nope.. certainly not.

I've been told the best way of doing Angelesey is to do a double-header (sat/sun) or to do Oulton one day and Anglesey the next day or vice versa. It gets expensive then though and if you crash on the first day then it's even more of a waste

I once did London to Cadwell in a day, but wouldn't do it again.

Took me 4 hours to get there, 8 hours at the track and then 7 hours home. I was walking like John Wayne for 3 weeks!

Think I'll be investing in a cheap folding bike trailer for the Disco this year

And a bike. You'll look like a prat turning up a track day if there's nothing on the trailer.

You make a good point.

Haha.. a bike is kind of the focus of the event, Monty. You should probably focus on the first

I tow my bike on a single trailer with my fiesta 1.4 petrol. It manages - just.

Suspension is bottomed out if I have anything more than wheels in the boot so my front footwell is crammed and so are the back seats. Boot is practically empty haha

I've got an old beat up Land Rover Discovery, and I just about to get an inflatable 8 man tent for family holidays. So if anyone is up for making a cheap weekend out of a track day I'm in.

I'm more concerned that Monty knows where to get 8 inflatable men.....and that he takes them on his holidays.
