The screw is out.

Mike was the last to do the bolts. He changed the rear tyre. Which is why I'm surprised. To be fair to Mike the rear has been on for 2300 miles so they may have tightened but the guys at Tipton said they shouldn't be that tight.

I've never had an issue with Mike's work before.

Tonight I Finished fitting my old rizoma rear sets from the RR. I have taken my time fitting them as I did not think I needed them. But using the bike at Silverstone the other week my feet were scraping!

Small bit of engineering modification (using The very well kitted out tools the technicians have at work) I would love a 1/4 of what they have, wow what kit.....and I was ready to run :)

Anyway all is good fitted tonight, quick test run, they do look good on the bike :)

You know I was thinking that when I was writing, I was too knackered after fitting and my little test ride, to take any, I will tomorrow, they do look awesome :)

Oh and as a side, I have now disowned another petrol station I used to use, as the arrogant twat behind the counter was Mr rude about taking my helmet off..... If he had done before I had actually filled up I would have rode off else where, as it was, he did it in the shop when I was queuing....starting spouting off to a copper who was in the shop at the same time, him that is not me..... What a tosser ! Giving my the big eye ball when I was outside, tosser!

Booked the zx6r tank in for a respray. I'll drop it off this weekend. I'll get the rear cowl done as well so it all matches.

Yesterday did a 125 mile round trip to Fareham Point with my dad. Once again I rode around 15 miles on my bike swapped with my dad and he nicked my bike all the way to Fareham Point! He says he doesn't like the riding position but he can quite happily Nick it for 45 miles haha!!

Its the first time for a month I've been out on the bike and must admit it felt amazing. Although my first suspicion of the front end being slightly soft may not of been correct. I've put it to standard settings and found that slightly to firm! Doh!! Though on the plus side the handling seems amazing on this setting! Think it really needs to be set up for my weight (61-63kg). The rear is prefect now definitely no complaints!! May keep it how it is but only time will tell!!

I wouldn't be in any rush to get rid of that bike. They really are a quality piece of kit.

If you're doing advanced riding my advice would be to learn those skills on the same bike You don't want to disrupt your training by swapping bikes. At present you're concentrating on your new skills. If you change bikes your concentration will swap to getting used to the new bike.

Once you've got your advanced training out of the way then see if you want to changes bikes.

Kwacky I'm definitely not changing bikes mate! We swapped over and I rode his just for around 45 miles out of the 125 miles just for a hit of fun. I think it'd more the front forks that need to be slightly softened but only a tad as handling is prefect haha!!

Don't actually know how much leathers weigh but I know their bloody heavy!! A month ago I was 69kg without kit and I knew then I had become a fat barstard so got back to gyming and my weight has gone back to normal, phew. clothes and leathers fitting properly again!!

Very surpused at this figures Rossgo. Especially the one without a claim as 600-700 is still naughty IMO.
