It sounds like a new drug didn't do the job. That should spark the anti-capital punishment activists into life.

"Warner was convicted for the 1997 murder and rape of an 11-month-old girl." lets hope he dies a slow painful death as well

I'd use the two barrel injection method. Ram it far enough up their arse and it will blow the top of their head off.

I don't even understand how or why he committed such a dreadful crime nor do I want to all I want is for him to suffer a totally painful drawn out death.

Actually if you read the article it seems Warner's execution was postponed as the first didnt work properly.

I hadn't. (headbang)

I got an overview from what snippets I had heard on the news, & mistakenly assumed that the guy Perkles was referring to was the one who had taken hours to die.

Oh well. At least he would have been sh@tting himself waiting for his turn, I guess that has to be worth something.?

Personally I have no problem with execution, would prefer hanging though or even the guillotine ( the French used it last in 77' ?) then dump the body in quicklime or the ocean and erase it from existence

Incidentally I think I remember reading that the Nazis killed more people with the guillotine than the French ever did.

This is worth looking at in regard to the US and the death penalty. It's all very well saying "yes I'd push the button" but could you live with it...

ALthough shooting someone and then burying them alive, the other guy deserved the pain as well to be honest.

Have you seen the film "The Green Mile".?

Cracking film IMHO, and the electrocution killing of Eduard Delacroix scene in that would give all but the hardest hearts to think twice.

I've said it before but it's clear that capital punishment does not prevent or deter crime
