Blue Monday

Post by Kwacky »

Supposedly the saddest day of the year - post Christmas blues, typically a few days away from pay day, cold days and long dark nights.

Or is it all bullshit, invented by holiday companies to prompt people to book holidays?

I'm feeling good about things, it's my day off so that's always nice.
I'm sat looking at Blue bikes on various sites... That's the most Blue thing about today for me :D .

I believe it's the day with the highest average number of suicides.

Personally, I don't feel too low on Blue Monday, typically that comes in a few weeks time and lasts a few weeks. I'm hoping that getting into MTB will help alleviate some of that.

I thought it was just a band (or maybe a song..??)......I never knew it was an actual date/day.

It doesn't help the world that its being promoted as the worst day of the year.

I think people have enough bad vibes in their life right now without these sort of reminders too.
