454 flats and no car parking , sounds sensible .
looks like every other tower block .

Twenty somethings aren't into car ownership. The figures in cities for that age bracket taking up driving is pretty low.

Who needs a car, with that sort of height you could nip up to the roof in the morning & hanglide to work. 8)

The article mentions there are plans for a lot of high rise developments near the new HS2 station.

I still do honestly believe that within 15 years we will have to try and live without cars as a commuting tool.

I've been working on this, I wrote part of the spec for the mechanical design consultant. (a very small part).

The developers model is luxury apartment short term rental.
