Grandparents books

Post by duke63 »

When Alex was young, we bought both my parents and Alisons parents a grandparents books.

These are books with pre set questions about their lives in which they can write episodes from their past and about their memories.

Alison picked up the one from her mum' s house today. Lots of stuff both of us never knew and a handwritten letter to Alex from her mum (almost certainly written since her leukemia diagnosis) telling him how much she loved him and how proud he had made her since he was born and how she felt the first time she held him.

Brought more than a tear to my eye. ;(

That would be pretty special indeed
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
