Cheers Kwacky.

Haven't been on for a while, work and other bits and pieces have taken over.

Have you got back your phone yet?

No. Still using my old one. Supplies of parts are slow reaching the UK. It's a Chinese phone.

As I've had to self isolate I've been working on my BF109 1:32 scale

Haven't got too far with it but here it is so far. Needs more work. Then can fit it togetherImageImageImageImageImageImage

You might give some thought to selling your models, mate. There's a small market for them, but your work is right up there at the high end of the spectrum---you'd do very well.
I've sold a few in the past, but just because I don't like the clutter, and just for the $30 or so it takes to buy another kit. And I've bought one or two as well...for inspiration as much as anything.
Something to think about.

Never really thought about it to be honest D as pro modellers are crazy good. Might be a good idea just to free up some space though when I do need too. Didn't realise there would be a market for that to be honest

I like watches and its become a bit of a hobby. Been after a Tudor for a while. The original Heritage Black Bay, nick named the ETA Smiley is now discontinued and starting to become collectable and appreciate in value so thought I get one. Really pleased with it (y) Nice tribute to the original Tudor Submariners.

The white gold used on the hands and markers instead of the usual rose gold makes it look quite unquie for a Tudor and there are some other nice features like the use of the traditional Rose logo, a slimmer case, oyster bracelet and a different movement which are all seen by collectors as classic Tudor.

I love watches and my Wife does not understand why. There's something beautiful about the craftsmanship involved, the balance of the details and the proportions of shapes, sizes and materials.

Cheers Cav (y) Think your above comments nailed it, and my wife doesnt get it either :?

Ironically a 5 pound Casio from Argos will keep better time but it's not simply about accuracy it's about the appreciation, craftsmanship, materials, proportions, heritage it's a feeling rather than a physical thing. Hard to explain. I think your into watches or your not.

Cheers Perkles. The Black Bay was the watch that really relaunched Tudor back in 2010 and established them as a watch company in there own right instead of always being associated as part of Rolex. These days people will appreciate a Tudor rather than having to explain the whole Rolex thing.

Saying that the oyster bracelet is identical to my mates Sea Dweller just a different clasp. The case is also identical to a submariner just a different crown, so still obvious links to Rolex which is no bad thing as there hardly sh1t watches (giggle)

Dude.. what camera did you use for that photo? I was on my phone before but just opened the image on the laptop.. it's actually in focus so I don't believe it's a phone image!

I'm disappointed with mine. It's really difficult to get a good shot. I've even been onto Samsung Support for it but it's crap. I'm outside the 30 day period to get a hassle-free exchange too.
