Everything said is bollocks, but it is clear that the government intends to abolish human rights and to limit the powers of the courts.

That's scary stuff. There is no doubt in my mind Russia is playing a part in all this.

My opinion though is that the hardcore real blue rinse Tories will get fed up of Johnson and Cummings when they see the damage they are about to do to the Party and the Country and will have him removed from office and replaced by a more traditional Tory.

"Build" as in manufacture from raw materials.?
-or
"Build" as in purchase all the cheapest available components from abroad (usually China) & then bolt them together & put a UK sticker on it.?

Manufacturers was where I was headed, but a quick Google seems to indicate they've all gone out of business.
Or at least the first dozen or so that I found listed.

That fits in nicely with Johnson's views on the working classes and single mothers.

A whistleblower has come out and said that Cummings has contacts with Russia. Labour have asked the Tories to set out what access Cummings has had to MI5 and MI6 information.

I see some newspapers are already saying that traditional Tories are showing concern over the hardline extremist direction the Party is taking.

Ministers to unveil emergency Coronavirus powers:

* Police allowed to detain infected

* Care standards could be lowered for elderly

* Ministers allowed to close ports

* 'Trains, vessels & aircraft' can be halted

* Schools can be directed to close or remain open

Now I realise that this could be in the coronavirus thread, but I'm wondering if these powers will be used once the virus threat is over?

Police can detain you just on the suspicion that you have a virus. Where do they keep these people? What rights do they have? Who gets told?

For how long will the care provided for the needy be lowered? How far can it be lowered?

The proposed legislation allows for the government to call on the army rather than the police to protect them and their interests. The MOD have already been informed. This means we will see armed forces on the streets.

Doctors can issue a death certificate without seeing the body. The plans will see coroners inquests with a jury being done away with.

So you could be taken off the streets, held, die and be disposed with within a few days.
