I agree that they nrver had any other intention fron the start.

You cannot trust anything Johnson says, he is a liar. He is about to renege on his own Withdrawal agreement.

What's the betting on double figure inflation figures in the UK next year?

It's not like I'm against paying higher taxes but I want to see benefits to these increases, I don't want to pay for other peoples cock ups.... deliberate or otherwise.

So Johnson and his mates trashed May's deal, drew up a new one, told the voting public that they had an oven ready deal and are now u Turning on that?

His hedge funding mates must be rolling in the aisles at the millions they're going to make from this mess

In the meantime we've just announced to the world that our word means nothing and we won't honour agreements.

There is going to be a border in Ireland the way things are going.

Imagine what chaos that will cause.

Johnson is a pure and simple Nationalist. That never ends well either for the leader or the Country they lead.

I'm not so sure he is. I still maintain he's nothing more than a glory hunter looking to a way to make a name for himself. He's had his puppet strings pulled good and proper, he been played like a fiddle, and now he will get hung out to dry as this so turns south.

Seems the UK Government are now toning down their statement.

I suspect some legal specialist has advised them that they cannot renege on something they have already agreed on and signed up too.

Johnson is an absolute clown. He couldn't lead a dog on a walk.

Operation Moonshot. The governments plan to tackle Corina.

£100bn to go to Deloitte and Serco. A private company. To do up to 10 million tests a day.

The annual NHS budget is £130bn.

10 million ....that's like having a general election every day.
Well, not quite as bad as that, but the logistics of it have to be somewhere up close.

It's pointless though. Will the entire UK population agree to be tested every week?

The tax burden that Johnson and Co are adding to the UK tax payer is immense. We will be paying this back for decades.

Far worse than anything Corbyn had planned.

It's not often that you hear the phrase "bring back Labour to curb the unnecessary spending"

This pandemic has presented the perfect opportunity for any self serving politicians in power to cream off huge sums of (our) taxpayers money into the pockets of their choice..

There is so much smokescreen, fear & paranoia being whipped up that they can get away with almost anything.

Probably not....but I suppose it'd be nice to have that capability should the need arise.
