wireless alarm

All the garages at the back of my house got broke into yesterday,I was luckythey didnt manage to steal anything but bust my door in
Has anybody fitted a wireless alarm to their garage,if so any recommendations on brand ?

the only thing i've done is fit a battery powered infrared sensor alarm. You can link them to power though if there's power available. When it senses movement (open the door) you have 3 seconds to turn it off then it goes off.

Its not brilliant, but might help as a deterrant or for them to scarper. However, it is easy to just smash and disable.

Some police forces have been giving away free shed alarms, we had them come round our village a few months ago but I missed out.
Worth a look
