How about our future relationship with the EU? In/out free-market, customs union etc. That should have been determined before we voted, then leave would have had a mandate.

While that can be seen as positive, the cynical and business part of my brain says different. It could be nothing more than companies hedging their bets that BOJO will offer massive financial incentives for then to come, and if those incentives don't materialise then neither will the companies.

Good news if they are coming. Let's hope they create jobs. Under the proposed immigration rules people in those sectors will qualify to come from the EU.

Its not good business sense to set up in the UK until we know what rules we will be importing and exporting with.

That could take five years or more.

It beggars belief and shows how very very little people know or understand about how the EU functioned and what tremendous benefits we did actually have from it.

I still would not be surprised if within ten years there is a very strong call for us to rejoin once people realise what they no longer have and how little say the UK will have in anything.

They're owned by VW/Audi Group...or whatever it's called.
Still made in England though. Crewe, I think.

Because iirc I already said my bit on fishing limits way back in the brexit discussions, and was "summarily sectioned" (smirk)

Frightening that those who run companies and businesses say that the Government has no idea what they are doing and the problems they are creating, in many cases problems that are permanent.

Companies that either export to or import from the EU or anywhere that the EU currently has an FTA with cannot plan for the unknown. The chocolate maker was an interesting one.

Is that because those companies are mainly looking at it from a financial perspective??
