New Phone Suggestions

Post by Blade »

Looking for a new mobile phone.

I normally go for Samsung S series but was tempted to look at Huawei after some members great reviews, but not sure now with their tussle with Google (wasntme)

What are people's suggestions?

I'm not really tech aware with latest phones and my current short list is Samsung S10E or S9 but obviously there will be other hamdsets people could suggest.

Good battery and camera are my main features as my only real other use is surfing the net and any phone is pretty good at that these days.

Stick with Samsung if that's what you're familiar with and like their phones.

I've got no issues with the Huawei, it's fast, the camera is excellent and it recharges in next to no time. But they're mostly glass so they're not the lightest.

I'm really enjoying my OnePlus 7 Pro, Its fast with an excellent screen and a 48Mp main camera. If you take selfies that camera pops up when needed and it has a slider on the side to switch between Ring, Vibrate and Silent, more useful than I thought it would be.

It is new to market and is getting regular system updates but they don't take long, it also has "Warp Charge" which charges it at 6 amps (50% in around 20 minuets), after a day with a couple of hours internet browsing and youtube it is on top of semi-regular 5-10 minuet browses it is finishing with around 50%.

I'd avoid Huawei until we know what's happening with their OS

I like the Samsung S phones and the S10E is thought to be the best phone out of the 3 available on balance

It's only the Huawei phones not yet released that'll have the Google issues

Personally id wait until we know what's going on with Hauai first before jumping into that. The Samsung's at solid phone but have also heard of the one 7 pro phone and people are giving it grrat reviews. I'm in a similar boat Blade It's a hard decision lol!

I would assume the S9 would be the best buy now

Followed your advice and ordered the Samsung S10e.
