I caught a snip of Boris Johnson on TV last night.
He was talking to the camera, and what a load of (clever & targetted) dumb bullsh*t ..
Interspersed with "speed dating" type questions like Marmite or not, he stated that he had an "oven ready brexit deal, just need to put it in the microwave & press the button & it's done. All over. This whole logjam will be finished & we can get out of this limbo & back to making Britain grate again"
Un-*ucking-believable.!!!!! Pure lies, told straight faced to the camera on mainstream television.?

My main problem, however, is that it seems to me it was blatantly aimed at a demographic, and I have a horrible feeling that they will actually believe it (not least because they want to).

It really does feel as though we are about to be royally stuffed.

Presumably some of them will be embarrassed at all the parties attempting to "out bribe" each other, by offering increasingly implausible spending plans on absolutely everything..
Shameful, and further undermines public confidence in politics imho.

Imho neither of the above, I think you'll find history shows us what happens.
History is written by the winners, besides they're so utterly shameless that they will simply stick around creaming us for anything they can & pointing blame for the state of affairs at everyone except themselves.

The potential consequences are to severe.

At most they have 5 years to turn Britain or England anyway, into the booming powerhouse they have promised. Otherwise they get voted out.

Corbyn is moaning on Twitter that the SNP won't team up with him to defeat the Tories.

The bloke struggles to make his mind up. Either he wants to work with other parties to keep the Tories out our he doesn't.

It appears to me that he wants, is to get into power, at all costs.
What he doesn't want is to have to share that power.
I am very concerned that his leadership ambitions may have serious consequences for us.
I must admit to also being a little "cautious" about his stated intentions regarding brexit, if he does get elected.

Sadly I have personal experience of the way it’s being starved of the money and staff to provide the service needed.
