Rest in peace.
What a sporting legend. Not only was he brave and talented he devoted much of his life to making motorsport much safer. I wonder how many lives he's saved?

Re: Niki Lauder
I'm touched by his death and I didn't grow up with him racing. A great bloke, bloody hard working and devoted.
Lung transplant last August and a series of illnesses since are thought to be the cause of death.
40 days from being burned within seconds of death to racing again - you couldn't write this stuff
