Looks like it could all kick off again.
Croatia has just passed a bill in parliament calling for Zagreb to intervene in Bosnian domestic affairs and to form reforms.
Many in Eastern Europe see this as a test case to see if the EU will intervene. They already know that the US won't be interested.
There are deep ethnic divisions in the region which have not gone away since the war.
It's getting very little press at the moment outside of the region. It won't take much to bubble up into another conflict.

It's Eastern Europe in general. Too many ethnic groups with a clan-like mindset that goes back way before the war(s) that have been waged in that region. It's almost a medieval mentality. The orphans of the last war become the 'revenge generation' of the next one.
