I think it was Aldrin several years ago who punched-out some schmuck who got in his face & said it was a hoax.....which is hilarious.

China doesn't really have the ability to send anyone to the Moon....& the USSR was never close to having it....and never will have it by the looks of things.
It's not a cohesive country. Peasants governed by plutocrats.

It was a big lie to scare the Russians.

Chinese were suppose to send up a rocket to capture pictures of the landing site and to take that all important picture of the US Flag, many years ago. Chinese never sent that rocket up, instead became wealthy and built lovely cities...coincidence?!

So how do you/they explain the retroreflector array on the moon that we've been bouncing lasers off for the last 49 years?

Easy same as anyother prob or M/C that we have landed on Mars for example. Radio controlled. Fire it up. Land it. And bobs your uncle all sorted.

I don't see how the Americans were closer than the Russians. The Americans kept blowing up their space rocket wiyh lads inside before even getting out of our atmosphere. The Russians managed to get a dog and a chimp up into space. The Americans were scared at the time, they were talking of how the Russians were sending up satellites which could scan all the American airwaves and find out their darkest secretes etc etc. Got to think how did they feel at the time, they had to wow not only the Russians but also the world.

They had to get out on top

But then I'm not the only one who doesn't believe it didn't happen, apparently 25% of us Brits believe it was faked.

In my opinion it didn't happen. We can't even get affordable electric cars to be able to travel a normal weeks travelling eg (250miles) this suggest we didn't park a craft on the moon and get back.

So i guess you all believe it happened then! That's fair enough you guys prob watched it on the telly at the time, I know my dad did.

Personally I don't. In my opinion it was a stunt by the US to ensure the Russians didn't get above themselves. Americans couldn't even get a rocket off the ground at the time without it exploding. I just think getting to the moon and back again was a bit far fetched for the reality of what was going on at the time between those 2 super powers. In my opinion they circled the earth and landed safely with pre recorded footage of them 'landing on the moon'. And bang they won the moon race because they were loosing everything else with the space race and they hated it.

Ross....what about the 3rd party countries that have confirmed a US moon landing....China, Japan, India, etc...??

China in particular, would have no vested interest in verifying NASA's "claims" if there was even a shred of doubt in their minds.

Moon rock has been sent all around the world for review and analysis.

NASA have launched hundreds of rockets successfully.

Telescopes have seen the stuff the US have left on the surface of the moon.

The footage of them on the moon was beamed back live. Other countries have verified the source.

Yep, and us.

Jodrell Bank tracked all the US and Russian moon probes

In my personal opinion it didn't happen. Just seems strange. How did the camera get onto the moon before the first step. How did the camera pan upwards in time with the lunar craft.

Seems a bit far to be on the module thinking of how big cameras were back then and had to be able to send a live link back to earth. But like I say there's a lot of people who don't believe it ever happened.

When I visited JFK it didn't exactly give me goosebumps. Yes the space program was incredible but the moon landing part seemed too far fetched when you saw how many people died before hand just trying to get off the earth.

To me I dont see how it happened. We haven't exactly made any progress with the moon.

I saw you guys all talking about the emissions for cars scandal, German manufacturing couldn't even get that right so what luck do we have to be able to land on the moon, send out live link to the world not just to NASA, film it all and take off from the moon all with no real problems.

We get issues with telly when we get a thunder storm in our area and that's in today's world.

Sorry but I'm not sorry, people can believe what they want. I believe it was just to scare the Russians as the Russians were humiliating the Americans and they couldn't have that!
