Had died aged 95.

I grew up with a lot of his stuff - very sad.

As a kid I used to get job lots of American comics via Canadian relations of a neighbour, Marvel and DC, (+ some dodgy jumpers) the Marvel stuff loomed large in my childhood - Stans moniker and style splashed all over them.

The renaissance of the Marvel/Stan Lee brand was wonderful- I’d forgotten the characters and found them all over again, thank you Stan and colleagues, you brightened my life and paved the way to Science Fiction for me. I owe you.

RIP Stan Lee. (allhail)

I was always a DC fan, but you have to admire everything Stan Lee did.

What a life.
