Hello and welcome to the forum and bikes in general.

Loving the bike and loving the biking! Still crap myself at the acceleration (blush) !

I still remember the feeling of speed on the training schools GS500... It will pass, especially when the good weather returns. The er6 is a great way to start.

The "Green Meanie" is parked in front of the Cerne Giant.......... It's only a few miles from where I live........ It seemed Apt at the time...... When I posted on the MCN forum that the Bike had been altered by fitting the Yoshi's, PCV, Race Filter and Custom Mapped............ I got in to a lickle bit of Twubble .... with a Vicar............... Basically He Questioned the Size of my Manhood and it all went downhill from there................ ( I Love Dots ) ..... anyway It has 197 RWHP and goes like Fook but It's a real pain to ride and I miss the Busa.........

Hi there,

I've been sent over to see you all by kwacky, we've been chatting on twatter a lot and generally taking the piss out of what is out there to take the piss out of.

I'm waaaaaaay down south, the other side of Exeter so a bit far away to pop in for a cuppa, engineer by trade(although due to accident at work no more). I do pretty much all my own spanner work and also have done 4 day suspension course at Reactive Suspension in York.
I run a bike forum, southwestbikers.com, ride my road bike when i can, 990 superduke R and like to play on track when i'm able, 2007 zx10r.

Been riding since i was 16, am now, ahem, 44. Have a natural confusion at how a normal person can buy a gixxer and almost overnight and within a couple of days be a self proclaimed riding god, give out information like it's sweets and then plant their bike into a roundabout or hedge. Seems to be an international problem.
Maybe we need to raise awareness, release a record or something???

regards

simon

I did something to my trackbike to have a little fun with other peoples photos..

Hi ya Simon/Fidget

Nice track bike, I have a green one the same, but up for sale atm as a single parent now and can't work a track day in very easily.

I'm down south too, bit further than you, a little county call...Australia (lol)

Good to see new blood, hope we don't scare you off!

That track bike is excellent.

Welcome to Tankslap.

We do dip down towards your way from time to time. I know we've done a ride out through Cheddar Gorge

Hi and welcome Fidget, I’d guess you’ve photobombed more than a few trackday pics in that disguise!

Hey fidget, welcome to the site.

Good choice in bikes, I have a 990 SD as well, just not the R. The track bike looks awesome.

I'm based in Berkshire so not that far over from you, there are a few southerners round here so maybe when the weather gets a but better.

Welcome in Fidget. That is certainly an original paint job on the track bike. Just need a 'polite' vest now (lol)

it was suggested but i didn't want to go too far.

it's enough to have fun with and i have had a couple people tell me that they've clocked me chasing them down on the straights and actually throttled off for a sec. crazy fools.

well for those down my way, we run a site trackday in June if anyone is interested. Small circuit in Wales called Llandow. I run it at cost, great way to dip your toes into circuit playtime without worrying about egos getting in the way.
