Probably divide opinion but I thought this was a refreshing read and a clear message to criminals that regular people can and will defend themselves.

Everything has to go through due process regardless of what has gone on. That's why its called a Justice system.
Not sure the media plastering his face across the internet is doing him any favours though.

End of the day I think I'd be throwing out two phrases....'just cause', and 'reasonable force'. And if someone duly believes their life to be in imminent danger, then they pretty much have no choice but to respond in kind.
