Weekend plans

Post by Kwacky »

Anyone up to anything?

Gym tonight then lay at home and nurse my wounds.

Tomorrow I'm supposed to be getting the bike treated by All Year Biker and in the afternoon having a new rear tyre fitted. But the forecast is for snow. I'll have to see what the weather is like.

Sunday we're off to Alton Towers to go on the new ride.

Forecast for rain again today, so the whole place will be in panic mode, air-raid sirens will go off if a cloud is spotted on the horizon, etc.

I might go shopping.

Visiting me kids and grandkids as usual this evening.... Hopefully I'll get home for an early night to get some needed sleep as it's an early start Saturday.

Saturday it's a days laning in Wales... bring on the snow :D

Sunday will be spent doing as little as possible recovering from Saturday's laning :)

Today we get to test out the new kitchen as its nearly complete. Just missing little bits like a work surface and floor....

Tomorrow, down to the folks to say hello and get some paperwork done for a new contract.

Sunday, supposed to be running a half marathon but not sure at the moment as the organisers are worried about the forecast snow and temperatures.

No, new place. Secured at 12 month contract in Basingstoke, dropping the 1:30-2:00 hour commute down to 20 mins in the car (happy)

Tomorrow morning MiniGee and myself are sourcing his DofE equipment list, afternoon is more of the same and watching the last of the Six Nations.

Sunday we’ve got a birthday lunch for our DiL and Mrs Gee, so all hands on deck to make that happen and then clearing up afterwards. I’ll be knackered come Sunday night and glad to get back to work for a rest!
