Seen a few incidents this morning with cars smashed. Had a lady almost skid into me due to going to fast and when she breaked she skidded must of only been a coupe inches to my bake bumper. Seen a BMW drift round a roundabout by accident but almost hit into someone's car, that was proper close.

And to top it off i fell through some ice and plunged my leg into the icy water up to my shin when out with my dog! My own fault really i thought the ice was thick enough and eanted to 'test' it proper kid moment!

Humm.. Maybe P0's aren't the best winter tyre (giggle) any little press on the throttle and the rear wheels span up. Good fun though.

Yeah at least it's dry. Every time I looked out the window my boy is lay in it. It was 5 hours later until he came in cold for his dinner.

Got stuck in the drifting snow at 6:30am, pulled out by a 4x4 an hour later, that’s what comes of frozen snow with powder drifting over the top - my van literally fell through the crust and was bellied out.
Found a way onto a decent road only to have a call from my Boss saying we were officially closed for business - only because he got stuck going into work in an Amarok 4x4. :D
Mrs Gee called moments later to say if I didn’t get home soon I wouldn’t get here as our towns only access road was nearly impassable. So another day at home for me, whilst my workload piles up as high as the snowdrifts I encountered coming home....

Funny you say that - they are not :D I've driven through the snow in the UK and France today - 10hrs driving (sweat) to get home.

The F-Type has tried to go sideways a number of times today - out of toll booths is my doing but some of the others are not. It's no Range Rover :D (sweat)

Winter tyres are the dogs danglies in this weather and the only real safe option.

Just walked down to the local shop and took some photos and its absolutely atrocious conditions out there. Not safe at all.

Most of the snow is clearing here now.

Didn't stop us going sledging on the local hills though. Great family fun, well most of the time
(wasntme) apparently I'm a naughty Daddy.

Me and my youngest got to the bottom of a run, couldn't stop, went straight through the gate hit a big mound, went airborne for 6 feet and landed with a broken sledge.....oops (blush)

Good job we had emergency pain relief to hand (lol)

According to the BBC news at 6pm pretty much every main road connecting the east with the West is closed due to snow or high winds or both.
