Parcel 1 ordered from Australia on the Wednesday and arrives at my house on Friday via UPS.
Parcel 2 ordered from Germany on Monday 10th March, arrived last Friday 28th via Royal Mail. And then i had to wait for 20 minutes at the sorting office whilst they struggled to find it.
When I worked as a postie royal mail we're utterly useless and yes me included due to management not having a clue...a monkey flinging his poo about would get a better job done than those poorly trained bunch of people!
There was a a fair few guys who had only worked for royal mail and therefore knew their routes well (and people on the routes pretty well) but this is mainly because they have a route close to home!!
It's possible the postie had your parcel for a few days at the office before sending it out to you due to everyone nowadays shopping online and those bags get incredibly heavy and they don't just have one bag per round!!
Our posties are pretty good, and there's normally some unworking scum nearby who can hold the parcel until I have returned from work to pay for their housing.

The Australian parcel was for the wife.
The German parcel was a seat hinge for the monoposto seat on the 748.
I also bought a brass drift to knock the wheel bearings out of the new wheels. £10 on fleabay and should have quite a few uses and will last my lifetime.
