Shit sorry to read this Kwacky. I've never had a dog before I inherited my dad's but she is 100% part of the family now. The most important part of the family most of the time in my house!

Very sorry for your loss Kwacky & family.
IMO the worst thing about having a dog, is how empty & hurt you feel when they go.

£160 if I want the ashes back to scatter them.

I don't think so.

I'm going to plant some bulbs at the start of the route we used to take on our daily walk.

Being a dog, who therefore lived in the moment.; He would probably prefer that you considered that the RSPCA currently charge just £135 for adult dogs to £200 for puppies under 6 months.

As a replacement?

If we do get another dog then we will always get a rescue. We never buy puppies or kittens.

Its terrible when you lose a pet, they really are a member of the family.
Er indoors had 3 dogs when I met her , all rescued, all gone now unfortunately. The current one was a rescue as well, like you Kwacky she only gets rescue dogs.
