Work Grumble

Post by Blade »

I'm gutted the sun is shining and I m stuck in work again (headbang)

In fact I m working every single day from now (actually last Tuesday) until the 18th April bar 2 days off potentially. I say potentially as even though I m planned to have them off I'm on call out and have already been told its unlikely I will be getting them off (swear)

I have not ridden the bike since October (I think I have forgot how too) solely because of work commitments and home commitments :@ I m going to go away and find a dark cold place to cry on my own (gah)

All work and no play makes Blade a very dull boy (doh)

It's not much fun when the work you're doing to pay for the good stuff doesn't give you time to do the good stuff.

I take it jobs in your sector are hard to come by?

Tbh Kwacky there is plenty of work and jobs in my line of work but my package which includes a very good well funded final salary pension would be extremely hard to beat and the bosses know that.

On a positive as a lot of people were leaving we have all just been given a very good wage rise.

I guess it's hard to moan when your in work and earning but sometimes my employer expect s too much and I have no choice but to accept it.

Sorry for banging on. Some times letting the relief valve blow and venting off helps even though nothing actually changes haha.

We all need to let off steam now and again.

TBH i think too much is expected of the majority in work nowadays.

We all spend such a massive part of our lives at work, it's important to be reasonably happy (as much as you can be to earn the pennies) and it's even more important to be able to let off steam about it when it drives you mad. The worst thing you can do is bottle it up, so have a good moan and feel better. We all understand, and we've all been there. Hope you're feeling better already (bear)
