Wouldn't mind if they were subtle, the guys from the band Mastadon had cameos last season as white walkers and just basically as extras, wouldn't notice unless you were looking for them, but that was just silly, felt like the whole scene had been put in just t get his silly grinning ginger mug on screen, he didn't even really speak so hes obviously an awful actor

I'm not sure how much of a role they will play in the TV series, that might have been the swansong. My mate reckons the direwolves are featured a few times in the books.

The Direwolves are featured heavily in the books , Jon and Arya also have limited warging abilities with their own wolves .

I'm wondering how the tale of the maesters is going to pan out. Sam did well and has caught the eye of his teacher. Qyburn has played a large role in helping Cersei.

Let's hear it for Indira Varma who now appears to be out of the show (inlove) (inlove) (inlove) (inlove)

Only problem is I cant look at Sams teacher without imagining him saying "A GREAT BIG BUSHY BEARD" from Hot Fuzz haha, plus me and the Mrs were both very disappointed when they missed out on the opportunity to put in a sneaky but very obvious flash Gordon reference last night.....

"How long will it take?"

I reckon all those books and scrolls Sam now has to copy are the exact things he was sent to learn .

You might be on to something Jack

I've just watched both of the Season 7 trailers again. There are a few hints as to what is coming next.

I have noticed a couple of minor changes in the opening titles which also give a clue as to what is going to happen

Like the big load of land/ice that has appeared next to wall that would allow the army of the dead to simply march round.....

to be fair the Army of the dead doesn't really march, it sort of ambles in a very menacing manner ....
