I'm hoping that this isn't a remake of The Empire Strikes back, because it certainly looks like it.

It looks suspiciously like ATATs and Hoth. Definitely Empire Strikes back.

I wonder if she will loose a hand? :D

Latest fan theory is that Rey is a Kenobi. There are some very good (and some very shit) arguments in support of it.

Hamill is hinting that....../drumroll....

Luke will turn out to have been The Devil Incarnate all along...!!!

Anyone who's seen Hamill's acting already knows that, of course.

There have been questions about Luke all along. He comes into using the Force very late in his life. He has anger issues like his father. He defeats much stronger enemies, despite the small amount of training he gets.

Like his father, he loses a hand, takes to wearing black, has an ego problem and has his own sense of justice which is not always the Jedi way.

The films have always been about bringing balance to the force. There is supposed to be one person who can do that. Anakin failed. Luke has tried - we don't know the outcome, but it looks like he's failed as well. So that leaves Rey and Kylo.

I suspect Luke will end up being a bit like Count Dooku - once a Jedi/Sith but disillusioned by it all. Luke will be on the light side of that compared to Dooku going to the dark.

There is no way the franchise will allow Luke Skywalker to be the baddie though.

Dude....the guy likes to make out with his sister....on more than one occasion, I might add!

And then even when he finds out, he's just "Leia! Leia is my sister!" instead of "Leia?? Holy fcuk! I hit that just last week, FFS!!" like he should have been.
He's a weirdo.

That scene at 42 seconds reminds me of an episode of Rebels where the Jedi meets Bendu, a force sensitive creature which sits in the centre of the force.

It's got to be out there on the web somewhere......one of the local channels here always seems to get the previews first....but it gets a bit ridiculous when they start doing previews of a commercial, & stuff like that.

This one had quite a bit of that lanky dark-haired evil lad in it from the last movie.
