Port it very much underrated in this county. It's seen as an old persons drink.

Which probably why I like it :)

Tawny port is perfect after Xmas lunch.

As with all these drink choose wisely. There is usually a good reason the best are the most expensive.

Love a drop of Port after lunch with cheese, FiL/MiL like it as an aperitif too.

Tried quite a few, but we import a case of White Port once a year and split it between FiL and ourselves, lovely chilled and doesn’t drown out a Brie de Melun.

I can testify that getting a cork out of a bottle, that has been in there for 13 years with nothing but a front door key is no mean feat (blush)

Chateau de Montifaud VSOP cognac. Possibly the best brandy I have tasted. I could only justify a 20cl bottle but sometimes that's the best way to buy exceptional liqueur.

Pah, unlikely.

Duty done, back home now with a glass of wine and a new gin to try a bit later.
