I don't profess to be an expert and I very rarely watch Premier League football. But I do enjoy international games.

Im the opposite, I much prefer League Games, but I have really enjoyed this world cup.

I should probaby clarify, its not me criticsing their enjoyment of the cup or even discussing it, but the way they talk about the players as if they could do it better or seem surprised becuase they have never heard of Kieran Trippier "he has come out of nowhere hasnt he?! He's really good"

"well yes he is good, but as first choice right back at spurs for 2 seasons now Id hardly say h has come out of nowhere"

It just makes me chuckle

Trippier and Macguire don't make the headlines though, that's why no one has heard of them.

Trippier has played very well in this world cup.

Personally think he has been best player for England so far, In some ways I don't want people noticing him, quite happy to keep him at Spurs for a long time!

We're having a dogshit start to our season and with a transfer embargo I can't see it getting any better.

Middlesboro top of the League but got booed off at the end last night and the ground was half empty. The wonder of Pulis' football.

I think I might give up with football this season, its back to Spurs of old lately, cant see out games, its like the team of 10 years ago, I feel more sorry for young fans who don't remember the old spursy ways haha

well, I was expecting more of a battering last night but I think the diabolical state of the pitch probably helped prevent that, genuinely have not felt this fed up with Spurs since the Martin Jol/Juande Ramos days.

The lack of singings, the defensive errors, the lying about the date the new stadium will be ready, the inability to see games out, the lack of passion from the players.

(maybe im just a grumpy old git already)
