That is a clever movie, very understated...a "proper" spy film. (y)

The Imitation game. Great film.

I suspect the work Turing did probably did more to ensure the Allies won the war than anything else one single person did. And what did the Country do? Hounded him for being gay. (facepalm)

And i would include Churchill in that list.

Really sad end. Incredible man.

If you haven't already, go to Bletchley Park - it's a brilliant day out.

Churchill didn't hound anyone for being gay...he had several gay friends. He had made an offhand, and often misconstrued remark about gays being more susceptible to blackmail, that's all.
He was also credited with saying something very similar to "one single person's effort, etc." about Turing ....something he also made a point not to do...the exception being his "The Few" speech.

Babylon. Made a fair few years ago but had really good actors and actresses in it, all about the Met Police. Has humor in it as well. I remember watching it when it first came out but it's been a while so nice to rewatch

I've been re-watching Peep-Show, right from the start. Great comedy. It's been a bit of a trip down memory lane, remembering what I was doing when each series was aired. It's also been funny watching the styles of cloths and the technology change over the years.

Watching the news, and the capsized ship off the Georgia coast. It's a real-life Poseidon Adventure...!!

°and Kaylee Hartung is there covering the story, which makes it even better.

GBBO.

I'm not overly fussed with it, but it's nice to sit between my wife and daughter and listen to them laughing with each other.
