Fun fact of the evening, Michelle Yeoh is married to Jean Todt of F1 fame, something tells me he won't be aiming for a 4 second pit stop with his missus.

Saw most of this on C4+1, good prog and well worth a watch on 4od I'd say, the bit about the time req'd to make a wing shocked me, proper TV prog that one.

The Walking Dead. I'm not normally a fan of horror but this is really well written. It's one of the few horrors that actually makes me feel uneasy.

Peaky blinders series 2 and its awesome.
Its about a true Birmingham gang in the 1920's. Plenty of violence and action with a good story linked to secret service death squads and the ira.

Sounds right.....I f**king hate horror.....I just think it's stupid.

Then again, I think "Alien" is about the greatest horror movie ever....so well done, and you never really see the creature until the end......the suspense in that movie was fantastic.

Alien is a classic. It's suspense horror, not gore. Let your mind fill in the gaps. The way Hitchcock did his films.

Yup...."Aliens" was laughable (except for the hot Jewish chick - notable actress)....Alien 3 was crap too....never seen any others....kinda lost interest.

Oh....and the new one.....I guess it was OK.....I can't even remember it's name??

Well it won't be the bloody MotoGP :@

I'm on night shift and it's showing at 2pm on the TV network we get out here. I usually sleep from 9 am - 5pm. No dramas I thought, I'll neck a half sleeping tablet straight after work, and get my head down 7-7.30am which would get me 6-7 hrs sleep, I could manage on that. Great plan.

I'd forgotten tomorrow morning is sunday, which means we will have an Emergency Exercise and Muster. I'm on the Fire Team, so I'll be running around in turn-out gear and BA all morning, then sitting thru' the de-briefing and in bed at 10am if I'm lucky... (gah)

Whats the chances I can get thru' the next 2 1/2 weeks before I get home and watch the recording without hearing the results, not like it'll be on the news or anything.. being the Aussie round and all... |(

Sorry rant over

The MotoGP!

Got to bed at 9.30am. Woke at 1 pm for a leak, the mind knew how close the race was and wouldn't let me go back to sleep.

Guess I'm going to need a feck load of coffee for tonight's shift!!!

Worth it I reckon, was a very interesting and mixed bag race. ButI'm only one coffee and 1 1/2 hrs into my shift, and there is plenty of work on the agenda tonight so I'll see how I feel in the dead of the morning. Not to mention I have to present the Safety Meeting at 1 am as well (yawn)

The Leftovers. Strange show about a day when 140 million people disappear into thin air. It's set 3 years after the event and shows how people are coping. It's very engaging.
