Homelands. Maybe one series too many but they've said it's the last one so I may as well see it through.

Daytime TV is atrocious. The adverts are all about death, life assurance, equity release or funeral arrangements.

It's for the old folks...they're the only ones home during the day.
And spracked-out junkies....for them there's Jerry Springer.

Re: What you watching?
Did you know Jerry Springer was born in a London Underground station during the blitz?

. No, I didn't have any idea about that. Then again, that's fairly obscure.....my "Springer Trivia" needs brushing up!
I did know he was British-born, though.

Re: What you watching?
Haven't seen it...yet.
The New York Post called it "a cinematic Hindenburg"...which I'm guessing is not a good thing.

Re: What you watching?
It is long, but I’m a massive fan of this genre, and whilst it’s no Godfather / Goodfellas, it was enjoyable. De Niro and Pesci are excellent in it, Pacino is a bit cheesy however.
If it had been condensed by 30-40 minutes, it would be a great movie.

Re: What you watching?
Top Gear. I never watch it, but I was eating and couldn't find the remote. They've got an electric race car VW built for Pikes Peak. It's got a race distance off 12 miles. The driver said its the fastest car he's ever driven and he's had F1 cars on the circuit

Was a lot better than I expected, like the way they tied it all in.
