Australian Coast. I know surprisingly little about the modern history of that place. They were looking at Darwin and what happened to it in the Second World War.

F1 Nice smash at the start. That could have been a lot worse. I won't name names in case anyone is watching it later.

Maleficient.

I have to admit I enjoyed it. It's a proper fairy tale but with a twist. Jolie plays the role well and although the supporting cast are pretty much unknown they all do a good job. I was half expecting it to be another CGI animation fest but although there's a lot in it it's not overpowering.

Biffy Clyro at T In The Park. They are a proper band! When I went to see Foo's and they were supporting they were nearly as good as the Foo's themselves!!!

A couple of new Sci-Fi progs. One is Extant with Halle Berry in and the other is The 100. Both seem ok. Let's see how they pan out.

Watched 100 last Monday, lots of unfeasibly good looking people in the future whose hair is never out of place, but that aside I quite liked it, even though it's all a bit "Lord of the Flies", still going to watch it again tomoz though. :D

Argo is a cracker. I thought it would be a bit of US PR with some unwarranted action scenes but it's very well balanced in terms of the politics and the storytelling.

Watched Edge of Tomorrow the other night.

As long as you accept that any film with an element of time travel of some description is going to be verging on the ludicrous, it's not a bad film.

Yep was good. I like people who do what is the right thing to do regardless of what their bosses tell them and Tony Mendez did that even though he was told to abandon at the very last minute.

Imagine getting the highest award you possibly can and not being able to tell anyone for the best part of 20 years.
