Some documentary about the McGregor brothers and an Avro Lancaster.

And a bunch of other planes, evidently.

I think they've managed to get lost over Somerset, or some other Godforsaken place.

That'll be because the Brit that saved Team USA's ass last time the competition was run isn't on the team this time.

That's a relief, knowing that there's a Brit to blame. Thanks for the heads-up.

We watched the first episode of American Gods last night - I think we both agreed its a bit too early to make our minds up. See how it pans out.
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

I was the same. It's a slow burner. You'll need to watch the first 4 before you can make your minds up. I recommend you stick with it.

Yep...your "first four" is spot on.....first three get you 'situated'...4th and I started to 'get it'.
I like that approach...shows that need an effort or bit of commitment to appreciate.

'Taking Chance'.....second time I've watched this.

Well worth a look...it's a docudrama about how our fallen servicemen & women are taken & treated, from where they fell, to their final resting place.
It's extremely moving, even for a cynical & somewhat jaded fcuker like meself...and it's tough to watch in places.....but it should be watched.
Kevin Bacon is a fine actor, but he takes it to a whole other level in this flick. Outstanding.
