I feel for you mate, I had the same with codeine and its not fun.

I started by cutting the dose down from the end of the day to the start of the day if that makes sense. That way most of the withdrawal symptoms where overnight initially.. It took me a good 2 weeks or so from starting to deep the dose to stopping altogether.

Did you know that 80% of heroin users in the USA were addicted to pain killers before they started using?

I completely understand it though, if my doctor wouldn't prescribe me more to enable me to reduce my dosage over time I would 100% try and find another place to get some. It's debilitating.

I'm getting hot sweats followed by cold shivers & goosebumps every minute, I can't control my body properly (I'm walking like I have early MND / less-severe cerebal palsy) and I probably shouldn't have driven into work today. This appears to be a typical withdrawal seeing as everything on the list of symptoms I am suffering with.

Most of the strong stuff is opium or synthetic opium based so users will get addicted. There's a massive lack of support for long term users of pain killers.

I didn't, but it doesn't surprise me. Not doubt people's medical coverage runs out & they move on to something illicit to fill the gap....which is basically all that addiction is.

Or so I've heard.

Allegedly.

My foot is no better, it's been 5 days so in going to minor injuries tomorrow (if I can)

The mother in law was rushed into hospital today with multiple severe infections, including a lung infection. All we've heard so far is she is drifting in and out of conciseness. Problem is, she lives in Portugal so my wife and her brother might be flying out there tomorrow.

Thats sounds serious. I assume you'd be left holding the babies (so to speak). I hope she's ok.

Mrs Nutz is flying to Portugal tomorrow. MIL now has double pneumonia and has been put in an induced coma for treatment.

2 days post-tramadol and I'm feeling mostly back to normal. I'm still struggling to get to sleep, however, once I'm asleep I'm dead to the world.

I hope MIL gets better properly and promptly D6!! :)

Teeth.

I had three of my front teeth ground down to nubs and posts put in ready for crowns in about 10 days time. Feels like I've been punched in the face by a gorilla fed with a diet of meth-amphetamines & crack-cocaine. I can't feel my face anymore.

GIVE. ME. DRUGS. NOW!!!!!

I don’t think so, I’ve had flu in the past and tbh I didn’t have the energy to pick my head off the pillow then. I think it’s a stomach bug combined with delayed meat sweats after eating too much pulled pork last night. Still feel crook now, despite having a small meal. It’ll have to work it’s way through I guess.
